We hear about Colic Calm helping newborns, but you don't really hear about the toddler-set, which is what grabbed my interest with Holly's story. Read on to learn how Colic Calm helped her son, Danny. Holly was no stranger to a baby crying—as a veteran mom to three kids, she knew what a newborn was all about. But what she didn’t get was why Danny, her youngest child, was losing weight and why, at 15 months of age, his stools were runny and had the consistency of a newborn’s, though he was eating solids and being weaned from the breast. Holly describes Danny’s

life as a baby like this, “Danny would wake more often at night than I thought he should be, at different times. I didn't think he was really hungry. It was like he was waking because he didn't feel well. He liked to be upright and to sleep upright. I remember sometimes we would sleep in the recliner in the living room, just to make it through the night. He didn't seem to spit up, until he got around maybe 16 months old, when he was weaned from nursing. As a baby he would seem to be very opinionated--[he would] sometimes cry a lot or be an off and on nurser--you know, cranky. Spurts of crying, but I didn't think he was colicky. As he got older, and would go off and play, I'd find non-food stuff in his mouth. (Which made me think of the word pica—though I don't know if he was, really.) It also made me think he was looking for a way to feel better.  It always seemed he wanted to eat something...and then he would have very loose stools like [the food] would just go through him. It was very frustrating.” At 18 months Danny was diagnosed with infant reflux and at 22 months his pediatrician put him on a generic (liquid) form of Nexium, called, Esomeprazole. The medication didn’t seem to help—it only made Danny extremely gassy (he was burping, and had flatulence). Holly, who believes in the power of natural medicine, had tried a PH diet to help Danny’s reflux, as well as product called Body Balance, which she said, “tastes terrible” and didn’t think was helping. She then heard about Colic Calm and administered it to Danny, alongside the medication, which helped relieve the glassiness. Today, Danny is 24 months and still a Colic Calm user. Holly, who lists “frugal living” as one of her interests, loves the solution. Since she does practice frugal living, I was curious—did she think Colic Calm was expensive? Holly replied with, “I think that Colic Calm is very worth its price. It's a great product and concentrated (don't have to take much for each dose)...tastes great! It even works on adults. I just wish that it was also available in bigger bottles.” Are you a Colic Calm user and would like to share your story? Just let us know by leaving a comment below and we’ll be in touch! Thank you!
