One Mom's Story: Lauren and Baby Korvin

New mother Lauren had a rough road during the first month of her son's life--in the first four weeks since birth, Korvin had been to the hospital twice and the pediatrician three times! The poor little guy was in pain, and it was hard to tell what was causing it. Lauren says, "He got to a point where he didn't want to sleep at night or during the day; he cried and fussed all the time. The only time he was quiet was when we were feeding him so I was thankful for those moments, LOL. I would cry a lot because we could clearly tell he was in pain and there was nothing we could do to help." Lauren was also finding blood in Korvin's stool--a scary sight for any mother. This, as well as the fact that he was tightening his tiny body and seemed to have stomach pain caused their pediatrician to think that Korvin had a milk allergy.
