One Mom's Story: Yolanda and Baby Jiovanni

Yolanda had her first child, a girl named Jennifer, 15 years ago and her second, a son named Jiovanni, a few months ago. Why did she wait so long in between? Because Jennifer was so colicky that poor Yolanda was traumatized by the period in her life--she didn't want to take the chance of it ever happening again. Yolanda says, "This is my 2nd child after 15 years. The reason why I waited so long was because I went through a lot with my daughter. She was very colicky and to top it off, she was asthmatic. She did nothing but cry all day, to where I got no sleep at all. So the thought of having another baby was. . . nowhere in my thoughts. Once I hit my 30’s I said, "OK, if I’m going to have another baby its either try now or never." So I did, after 15 years! I had a handsome little boy!" Fate was kind, and did not send another bout of colic along with Jiovanni, but still, Yolanda did not get off easily. Jiovanni had

terrible gas. Yolanda tells the story like this, "My life before Colic Calm was a nightmare that I didn't want to repeat  with my daughter. I would pray and ask God to help me and my child.
