2022 Holiday Gift Guide: Girl

2022 Holiday Gift Guide: Girl

‘Tis the season to spread good cheer! From decking the halls to songs of the season, the holidays are magical and of course, not complete without giving (and receiving) a gift or two.

If a sweet baby girl is on your list for gifting to this year, you’ve come to the right place for gift ideas. From adorable outfits to fun toys, we hope this list makes shopping nothing short of enjoyable! These gifts are all sweet, useful, thoughtful, and durable.

0 to 6 months

Blanket. Every baby needs a soft, comfortable blanket that will hold up long enough to last through the toddler and preschool years (and beyond). Children will put their blankets through a lot, so you’ll want to choose a durable one. We love the options at Pottery Barn. They offer a wide variety of materials and the ability to monogram it too.

Adorable Stuffed Animal. Babies and toddlers alike adore stuffed animals and plush toys. The best stuffed animals are huggable, soft, and made to withstand endless play. Our favorite picks are a fun unicorn, a pink bunny rabbit, or a classic teddy bear.

Cuddly Pajamas. Little ones spend most of their day lounging around or being snuggled so a cuddly pair of pajamas goes a long way! Our staff pick is these luxe bamboo pajamas by Posh Peanut. They are a splurge, but it is the holidays after all!

Hooded Bath Towel. Ensure your little one stays warm and dries quickly after their bath with a cuddly hooded towel. We are big fans of the faux-fur Pottery Barn Baby Bunny towel and this Cloud Island Flamingo hooded towel from Target.

Bath Set. We’re all about this Tubby Todd Newborn Gift Set! Tubby Todd is a fan favorite among our staff. Their gentle body care basics keep newborn skin fresh and moisturized.

Play Gym. Tummy time is a staple of development. We’re big fans of having playtime with purpose and that’s why we’re confident that this Lovevery Play Gym will provide lasting fun for the little one.

6 to 12 months

Water Mat. Watch your little one’s eyes light up as they interact with a water mat. A wonderland of shapes and colors, a baby splash pad provides little one’s quality stimulation and fun. Don’t just take our word for it, with over 40,000 reviews this inflatable water mat from Splashin’Kids will be a center of growth for your child.

Stackable Rings. Developing fine motor skills, double as a teether and entertain with color and sound. Stackable rings are a great and inexpensive gift for a baby. We recommended this Sassy Stack.

Silicon Snacking Cup. Baby’s 6 months and up will start introducing solid foods into their diet. A spill proof snack container is a thoughtful gift that will allow tiny fingers to reach their snacks will avoiding inconvenient spills.

Learning Walker. An interactive learning walker provides months to years of entertainment for a little one. We like the VTech Sit to Stand Walker that has interactive features including buttons, spinning rollers, shape sorter, music, lights and more.

1 year and up

Balance Bike. A balance bike is a fun and education toy to gift a child with. Proven to help teach children to ride a bike faster than training wheels. Your child will learn balance and steering at a young age. The original Strider Bike revolutionized the way kids learn to ride bikes and it’s makes for an exciting gift.

Electronic learning toys. Vtech and Leapfrog make a variety of toys that are interactive and educational. For little girls we love this Vtech Tea Party Set and Leapfrog Shapes and Sharing Picnic Basket.

Push and Pop. These might be a very simple toy, but they keep the attention of babies. These push and pop silicone bubbles encourage fine motor skills, explorational and cause-and-effect learning.

Mega Blocks. Hours of playtime fun will be had with Mega Blocks. These building blocks are perfect for small hands. Easy to grip and stack.

Reading Chair. Little one’s love books! Gift your favorite little(s) with the classic My First Anywhere Chair® from Pottery Barn. There are a variety of covers to choose from and you can complete it with a custom monogram.

A Snuggly Jacket. Keep warm during the winter with this cuddly and super-cute fleece jacket from L.L.Bean. Complete with adorable bear ears!
